Our Team

John Jesionowski is the owner and president of Stonebridge Construction. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction Management from Michigan State University. He began his career working for a production building company in Columbus Ohio, but quickly realized that he was frustrated having to provide homeowners with aproduction-quality house, and decided to start his own building company focusing on the individual client and quality, not quantity. John is involved with every homeowner from the beginning to the end. He works with each customer, designing the home and developing the construction costs, and guiding them through the building process. He is always available to answer questions. John supervises the construction of each and every home and he surrounds himself with quality craftsmen and employees.

Tim Spurlock is our site superintendent. He spends over 90% of his time in the field. Tim’s fieldwork and construction experience are invaluable to our team. Tim works on site organizing and managing the crews, suppliers, and building materials. Tim makes the last few, normally hectic weeks of the job, run smoothly and efficiently. He is in charge of all warranty work. In addition to all this, Tim owns and operates our in-house woodworking mill where we produce custom crafted trim and specialty pieces with select woods.

Our Subcontractors

We make it a priority to work with only the best craftsmen in the area who work well with others on the jobsite. Our subcontractors have a history of working together and they understand the team approach to construction that we incorporate on our jobsites. Our homeowners make it a point to let us know that the subcontractors treated them courteously when they went to visit their home under construction.

Our Suppliers

We always try to use the best materials and supplies available and current in our industry market. If a product is no longer the best in the market, we will research and switch to the better product. We believe in remaining loyal to suppliers when possible, but need to keep our customers’ best interests first. If a product doesn’t work properly it not only frustrates the owner, but us as well. In order to maintain our outstanding customer satisfaction we always want to minimize the need for callbacks.

Stonebridge Woodworking Mill

In 2006, to diversify from the competition, we opened our own woodworking mill. This allowed us to provide our customers with select stained wood products, such as black cherry, mahogany, maple, and walnut, for the price of painted and mass-produced products. At the mill we create custom base and crown moldings, casings, stair parts, and specialty products. If desired by the customer we can also custom-mill products to receive a painted finish.
